Eagle Food Registrations has added SQF (Safe Quality Food) accreditation to the portfolio of food safety certification it is able to offer.

The company has been offering ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 certification to the food industry since the formation of its food safety division at the end of September.

Eagle Food Registrations’ president and CEO Albert “Skip” Greenaway said: “The food industry has made great progress and our food is becoming safer. But as long as recalls occur, there is room for improvement. With the involvement of everyone in the food supply arena and implementing food safety management systems like SQF, we can further improve the numbers, and maybe even hit 100 percent safe food for all.”

Eagle Food Registrations is the newly formed division of Eagle Registrations, which has been auditing businesses across many industries to international standards since 1994.
