The Canadian natural ingredients firm said he stepped down as a result of new personal commitments which prevent him from serving as a director of public corporations.
It now intends to replace him on the Board of Directors and is currently in the process of assessing new candidates.
Fetherstonhaugh, who had been a member of the board since September 2001, said he was proud to have played a role in the development of the company.
Jeremy Kendall, Chairman of the Board described his contributions over the years as “invaluable".
