A survey from UK consumer watchdog Which? has found that most of the pizzas sold in high street restaurant chains are unhealthy, containing high levels of saturated fat, fat and salt.

Which? looked at Margherita pizzas, which have a simple tomato and cheese topping.

The Prezzo pizza scored worst on saturated fat, with 15.35g. Women are advised to eat no more than 20g of saturated fat a day. The Pizza Hut version had 13.99g saturated fat.

All the pizzas had at least 3g of salt, half the recommended daily amount for adults. The Zizzi pizza had 4.8g salt.

Pizza Express came out on top, with less than 20g of fat and less than 10g saturated fat.
