Confectionery Manufacturers of Australasia (CMA), the main industry body for confectioners in Australia and New Zealand, has announced the dates of its two main events for 2009.
Its annual ConfectioNZ conference is due to take place in Tauranga, New Zealand, on March 28 and 29, while ConTechPlus – a technical symposium for the industry – will be in Melbourne, Australia, from May 13 to 14.
ConTech’s theme this year is ‘adapt, improvise and overcome: how to prosper in times of challenge’, reflecting the emerging industry consensus that improvisation is key to success in difficult economic times.
