The Dairy Products Technology Center at California Polytechnic State University will host the event in cooperation with Dairy Management to reveal the latest trends and advancements in dairy ingredients.
Experts from food manufacturing, research, academia and government will present information on dairy ingredient science, consumer trends, global market opportunities, new applications and industry forecasts.
“It is important now more than ever for food manufacturers to develop products that add value to the consumer,” says Phil Tong, director of the Cal Poly Dairy Products Technology Center. “Consumers want the most for their dollar, and they look for products that give them something extra, like nutritional benefits or added convenience. This symposium provides insights into how dairy ingredients can add value to differentiate new product innovations.”
