Glanbia Nutritionals is launching a new line of non-GMO, gluten-free plant-based protein crisps and powders derived from ancient grains, flax and chia that can be used in everything from beverages to baked goods and gluten-free foods.

Its HarvestPro vegan protein crisps contain 50-60% protein, and include a quinoa, chia and sorghum crisp; a chia and amaranth crisp and an organic quinoa and flax crisp; which can enhance the flavor, texture and nutritional profile of bars, clusters and cereals.

The HarvestPro vegan protein powders include Chia Protein 30, a calcium-rich allergen-free chia protein concentrate containing 30% protein and 42% fiber; and Flax Protein 35, a flax protein concentrate with 35% protein, 32% fiber and a PDCAAS (protein digestibility corrected amino acid score) of 0.58, comparable to oats (0.57).

Both plant protein powders contain ALA omega-3, deliver a clean flavor profile and are ideal for beverage, bar and bakery applications. They are also heat treated using Glanbia’s MicroSure Plus 5-log validated process for safety, stability and consistency.
