Pepsico says that the dairy sector is a ‘key component’ in its global growth strategy, and has the potential to post growth more than double that of bakery and chilled processed foods combined.
That was the bold prediction of Sam Lteif (pictured), PepsiCo’s general manager for global nutrition, speaking at the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) 27th annual Dairy Forum in California earlier this week.
He added that dairy suited the nutritional needs of all consumers – from children through to elderly people – and said the sector had “tremendous potential”.
