I think this study highlights that for a parent on a limited fixed income you buy what fits the budget. When Soda is cheaper then milk the sad fact is that more soda is purchased. It is cheaper to feed kids on junk then it is on good wholesome vegetables and whole foods. Sadly for a significant portion of the population the primary decision has to be based on price
