Potential problem, silly solution
Looking at the CDC data, there is very likely a relationship between the four-fold increase in SSB consumption and increased obesity. On the other hand, prohibiting giant soda sizes alone is not likely to decrease SSB consumption. I predict SSB sales would shift to multiple smaller servings instead of single larger portions.
