Trans Fats are similar enough to Saturated Fats.

Artificial Trans Fats are similar enough to Saturated Fats to be considered in a similar category - or should be - even though they're far worse.
The molecular configuration causes an unsaturated fat to unnaturally take on the shape of a saturate.
The body see unsaturates as being very useful but the aTFs confound many important processes.
Taking this tact would show a court that a company who compares saturated fat to trans fat to show favor to trans is not being honest in light of the proven knowledge of the dangers.
The plaintif should take this position. (I'm not a lawyer but if you want to hire me...)
