the Dutch never ate a lot of meat to begin with. if you do a comparison test between the dutch and the rest of europe you will see a picture that shows the dutch being very receptive to eating less meat and they fill the protein gap by adding more dairy in any form especialy yogourt. they are easy coverts especialy since meat is expensive in holland compared to dairy
