
In-fibre™ is Fenchem’s organic certified inulin meeting both USDA and EU organic standards. Of artichoke origin, In-fibre™ organic inulin is healthier for the intestine compared to inulin of chicory origin. Inulin is a dietary fibre with added health benefits relating to weight management and digestive health. It also has a low Glycaemic Index, a low calorific value and texturizing properties. It is an ideal ingredient for applications in a wide variety of foodstuffs such as dairy, ice cream and bakery etc.
Furthermore, Fenchem has developed an innovative test method, combining USP method and ELSD (Evaporative Light—Scattering Detector), to remove free glucose and free sucrose from the exact inulin content. The two substances are traditionally calculated as inulin purity when using just USP method. So, the method will help our customers to ensure our In-fibre™ is of the highest quality and not adulterated with other impurities.
