GMA appoints Kraft exec to management role
The Grocery Manufacturers Association has appointed Danny Belcastro as executive vice president of industry affairs and membership services, the GMA has said.
Belcastro has spent 35 years in the consumer packaged goods industry, and is currently vice president of customer development and industry affairs at Kraft Foods North America.
GMA’s president and CEO Pamela Bailey said: “He is a respected leader in our industry, with strong relationships in the manufacturer and retailer communities. His strategic vision, leadership skills and industry experience make him the ideal person to move GMA’s industry affairs and membership services platforms to an even higher level of effectiveness.”
Belcastro is due to take up his position at the GMA on July 7.
