OTA develops interactive website to assist with organic exports

The Organic Trade Association (OTA) has set up a website to help US organic companies looking to expand into new international markets.

The Organic Trade Resource Guide​ is intended as a resource for US companies wishing to learn about export requirements and international organic regulations. They can select countries on an interactive map to find out more about trade barriers, specific countries’ laws and standards for organic foods, and contacts to assist with exporting.

OTA’s CEO and executive director Christine Bushway said: “The Organic Trade Resource Guide will be an important and vital tool for US organic companies seeking to begin exporting or expanding their exports of products all over the world. Excitement about and interest in organic products continues to build all over the world. Expansion of global trade in US organic products creates high quality jobs in the growing US organic sector.”
