Los Angeles-based Commercial Meat Co. has recalled about 377,775 pounds of ground beef products due to possible contamination with E. coli O157:H7, according to an announcement from the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The recall includes bulk ground beef, cases of ground beef patties, ground beef taco and ground beef chili sold to restaurants in California and Nevada and one Federal establishment in California, and produced between September 7 and October 6.

The recall follows the discovery of E. coli O157:H7 during routine FSIS monitoring. Affected cases are labeled with the number "EST. 4873" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

There have been no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of these products, the department said.
