Tony Vernon
Current executive vice president and president of Kraft Foods North America, W. Anthony (Tony) Vernon, will become CEO of the North American grocery company, which will have estimated annual revenue of about $17bn.
Vernon joined the company in 2009 as president of its North American business after more than 20 years at Johnson & Johnson.
"I'm delighted that Tony will become CEO of the grocery company," said Irene Rosenfeld. "His focus on marketing innovation, new products and on disciplined cost control has set our North American business on a new trajectory, and I have great confidence in the future."
