A leading Venezuelan processing plant has completed a major new infrastructure investment in partnership with the Adfood Group.

Carnes El Pazo, part of leading agricultural operation El Tunal, claims to operate one of the most automated deboning halls for pork and beef in Latin America.

It brought in the Adfood Group’s subsidiary operations Roser and RMT, to help increase capacity to 1,225 pigs and 250 cattle a day while minimising the number of staff required.

The Adfood Group worked with the 10,000m2 plant, based at La Miel, Lara State, Venezuela, to introduce a primary, straight and dynamic cutting systems, boosting productivity and profitability, it claimed.

The installation was completed with a modern line of vacuum packaging, with the option of controlled atmosphere, and with an accurate quality and labelling control system.
