Corn Refiners Association welcomes new president
Now we move on to the Corn Refiners Association (CRA), which has appointed John W. Bode as its new president and CEO.
Bode - who will begin his new job on May 6 - has 30 years’ experience as a lawyer and lobbyist in Washington, D.C.
He has also served on the Senate Agriculture Committee staff, held three Presidential appointments at the USDA, testified before Congress more than 70 times, and overseen the development of around 90 proposed and final rules.
Matthew Wineinger, Chairman of the CRA and President of Tate & Lyle Bulk Ingredients, said Bode was "an accomplished leader with a strong background in the food and agriculture sectors".
The CRA is a national trade association representing the US corn refining (wet milling) industry. Its member companies are ADM, Cargill, Ingredion, Penford Products Co, Roquette America, and Tate & Lyle Americas.
