Mondelez appoints Ratan N. Tata to its board of directors
And now to confectionery and snacks giant Mondelez International, which has nominated Ratan N. Tata to its board of directors.
Tata, who is chairman of the Tata Trusts - one of the largest private sector philanthropic trusts in India - was previously chairman of Tata Sons Limited, the holding company of the Tata Group.
"Ratan is an outstanding candidate for our board," said Mondelez International chairman and CEO Irene Rosenfeld.
"A global citizen and accomplished innovator, Ratan's career achievements are truly impressive. His operating experience and marketing expertise, particularly in developing markets, will be terrific assets to our Board and to Mondelez International."
