Campbell Soup announces new appointments in North American retail, foodservice, innovation
Next we move to Campbell Soup, which has appointed Ed Carolan as president of its US Retail division; Tim Hassett as SVP and general manager, away from home and chief customer officer of Campbell North America; and Darren Serrao as SVP, innovation and new business development.
Carolan (pictured above) - who leads the firm’s US soup and simple meals business - will assume responsibility for Campbell’s $3.5bn US soup, sauces and beverages business.
Prior to joining Campbell, he spent five years in brand management positions at Procter & Gamble.
Hassett, meanwhile, will take charge of Campbell’s North America foodservice business and retail fresh soups and sauces business, as well as expanding the availability of Campbell’s products in the immediate consumption and e-commerce channels.
Hassett, who most recently served as SVP, sales, Campbell North America, has also held senior roles at Kellogg and Procter & Gamble.
Finally, Campbell North America innovation VP Darren Serrao has been promoted to SVP, innovation and new business development.
