Campbell Soup appoints Ümit Subaşı president, Asia Pacific
Next we move to Campbell Soup, which has appointed Ümit Subaşı as president, Asia Pacific, succeeding Gareth Edgecombe.
In his new role, Subaşı is responsible for Campbell’s Australian, Southeast Asian and Pacific operations, including Arnott’s biscuits and Campbell’s soup, stock and beverages.
Subaşı - who started on November 1 - is based at Campbell Arnott’s regional headquarters in Sydney and reports to Luca Mignini, President, Campbell International.
Prior to joining Campbell, Subaşı was president, emerging markets at personal care giant Beiersdorf.
Mignini said: “Ümit is an outstanding leader who has a track record of delivering strong growth in established markets such as Europe, as well as developing markets in Latin America and Asia.”
