Mark Haas joins gluten-free specialist Cup4Cup in new COO role
Next we go to C4C (Chefs For Consumers - owner of gluten-free brand Cup4Cup), which has appointed Mark Haas as chief operating officer.
Haas, who has worked at Kellogg, Hain-Celestial and Efficiency Foods, was previously director of procurement at organic and natural foods manufacturer Annie’s Inc. He was also founder and CEO of Bridgetown Bakery.
In his new role, he will oversee Cup4Cup’s national sales and strategic partnerships and lead efforts to expand C4C, exploring the launch of incubator food brands in several new categories.
“Haas’ vast experience in operations, finance, sales strategy and management specifically in consumer product goods will play a pivotal role in continuing Cup4Cup’s growth within the gluten-free category,” said CEO and Cup4Cup co-founder and chef Lena Kwak.
A blend of multi-purpose, gluten-free flour, Cup4Cup was developed by Kwak and Thomas Keller at The French Laundry.
