Corbion announces series of executive appointments
Next we head to Corbion (formerly Caravan Ingredients and Purac), which has made a series of new appointments as we enter 2014.
First up is Thomas Douglass (pictured), who joined Corbion in 2013 as fortification director and has now been promoted to the role of category director, food market unit.
Next is David Meggs, who is the new vice president of the meat and culinary market unit. Meggs has been with the organization for 10 years, most recently as director of business development, food, for Purac.
And finally, Jim Anderson - previously national sales manager, Trancendim Solutions, for Caravan Ingredients - has been promoted to the role of national sales manager, industrial solutions.
Corbion Caravan employs around 700 people in operations in nine locations in North America making bread mixes, specialty bases, frozen dough, vitamin and mineral premixes, functional ingredients and emulsifiers.
