ConAgra Foods is recalling 5,200 cases of chicken noodle soup products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.

The firm said Healthy Choice Chicken with Rice Microwaveable Bowl Soup may contain Healthy Choice Chicken Noodle Soup.

The product is formulated with wheat and egg which are not declared on the label, said the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA-FSIS).

Products were made on 16 December 2013 and shipped to retail outlets nationwide and distributed to the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Puerto Rico.

The problem was reported to the firm by consumers who discovered chicken noodle soup in mislabeled bowls.

The chicken noodle soup products are subject to the recall have the label: 14-oz (397g) microwave bowls of “Healthy Choice Chicken with Rice” soup and Best By date of “JUN092015” on the bottom of the bowl.

FSIS and the company have received no reports of adverse reactions due to eating the products.
