CrispTek LLC is adding three products to its Choice Batter line of baking mixes: Double Chocolate Chip Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Lemon Poppy Seed Muffin. The mixes are all certified gluten-free, free of the eight most common food allergens, certified kosher and manufactured in a facility free of gluten and common allergens.
“The product development formulation challenge was not only to replace wheat and gluten, and eliminate the eight most common food allergens from the mix, but to eliminate the need to use milk, butter and eggs when making cookies, brownies and muffins,” said managing partner Wayne Swann.

The mixes are now available online and will be rolled out to supermarkets soon.
