DeeBee’s TeaPops bring tea to the freezer section
Looking to capitalize on the strong household penetration of tea (over half of Americans drink tea on a given day—85% of it iced, according to the Tea Association of the USA), DeeBee’s Organics has launched TeaPops, a line of tea-derived popsicles. Made with teas, naturally non-caffeinated rooibos, and organic fruit, DeeBee’s TeaPops are lightly sweetened with organic coconut flower blossom nectar or organic, non-GMO honey (instead of refined sugar, the firm says).
Based in Victoria, British Columbia, DeeBee’s Organics looks to expand its presence beyond the Canadian market by distributing its TeaPops in the US—starting with the Whole Foods Market locations in the Midwest, East Coast and Florida.
“We are very excited to bring our organic TeaPops to a whole new market this summer,” said Dionne Laslo-Baker, PhD, CEO and founder of DeeBee’s Organics. “Living and eating well is important to us, and we are so happy to share our passion and products with more families!”
