Nu-Tek Food Science appoints Brian Boor as its new president and chief operating officer
Next we go to Minnesota-based sodium reduction expert Nu-Tek Food Science, which has named Brian Boor president and chief operating officer.
Boor, who previously served as senior vice president of sales and business administration at Nu-Tek, has also held senior roles at Olam International’s Spices and Vegetable Ingredients unit and at ConAgra Foods, where he served as vice president of sales and customer operations.
Nu-Tek Food Science - funded in part by an investment from Khosla Ventures - has developed a patent-pending technology which it claims can produce potassium-chloride-based salt replacers without a metallic aftertaste, overcoming the major barrier to KCl for product developers.
