Poultry specialist Meyn were offering the chance to save labour and increase yield with its new Rapid Plus back meat harvesting system. “It’s a new development and allows you to harvest smaller pieces of meat that would normally be left on the carcase,” Judith Marques dos Reis-Koops, Meyn communications manager said, adding that the system would help poultry processing add automation and increase profitability. The company was also demonstrating its Mags automatic giblet harvesting system, which it said can produce “A” grade livers and heart.
