Because you’re worth it? Nestlé launches ‘Extra Thick & Creamy’ frozen custard
And indulgence is still the name of the game as we move into the frozen desserts category, where the latest innovation from Nestlé is frozen custard under the Dreyer's and Edy's brands.
The ‘Extra Thick & Creamy’ vanilla custard - which contains 210 calories per half cup serving compared with 140 calories for Dreyer’s/Edy’s vanilla ice cream – contains skim milk, cream, corn syrup, sugar, egg yolks, whey, molasses, acacia gum, guar gum, carob bean gum, xanthan gum, carrageenan, natural flavors, and invert sugar.
There are six flavors with a MRSP of $3.89 per quart: Chocolate Malt, Mint Cookies 'N Cream, Old Fashioned Vanilla, Peanut Butter Pie, Salted Caramel Pretzel, and Snickerdoodle.
