Amazon reportedly planning to add food to ‘Elements’ private label range

According to The Wall Street Journal, which quotes “people familiar with the matter” but has no official comment from Amazon, the e-commerce giant has sought trademark protection for more than two dozen categories under its Elements brand including coffee, soup and pasta and has explored partnerships with private-label food manufacturers including TreeHouse Foods.
Amazon did not respond to a request for comment.
