Embassy Flavours extends its Eggstender Plus line
The current egg shortage inspired Embassy Flavours to add to is portfolio two more versions of its Eggstender Plus, which launched last year when there was an egg white crisis. The new ingredients include a wheat-based formula for bread and a concentrated whey protein formula. These join the previously existing gluten-free Eggstender Plus formula and the original whey based formula. All the options are Kosher, according to the firm. They also all can be used as partial or complete replacements for whole liquid eggs and have a long shelf life of 270 days, the firm notes.
