How much whole grain are we eating?
NHANES data from 2007-2010 suggests that around 12% of Americans' total grain intakes are from whole grains, the vast majority of which come from foods bought in grocery stores rather than eaten out, although this is beginning to change, said Dr Laurian Unnevehr from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
