Bulletproof Coffee creator on a mission to 'change hydration forever' with oil-infused FATwater
Another new entrant to the caffeine-free energy drink category is FATwater, a novel beverage developed by Bulletproof Coffee creator Dave Asprey, which fuses water with patented nanoparticles of Bulletproof XCT Oil, a medium chain triglyceride fat found in coconut oil (the same oil used in Bulletproof coffee)
While nutritionists dispute Asprey's claims that FATwater is more hydrating than regular H20, Asprey predicts it will be "very popular with athletes and weekend warriors".
Bottled FATwater is currently only available from the Bulletproof Coffee café in Santa Monica and at Erewhon Markets for $3.95, but FATwater concentrate is available via the Bulletproof website (16 sachets for $29.95).
