Coca-Cola names James Quincey president and chief operating officer
Next we head to Coca-Cola, which has named James Quincey as its new president and chief operating officer. Quincey, previously president of Coca-Cola's Europe Group, reports directly to CEO Muhtar Kent and oversees all of the firm’s business units.
“Given Quincey's global background and significant deal experience, we can't help but wonder if Coca-Cola will accelerate growth through stepped-up acquisitions,” said Wells Fargo.
