Union Kitchen helps national brands target local stores
National brand Stumptown Coffee Roasters is targeting small, local stores with "last mile" distribution help from Union Kitchen, says Mary Beth Marks, director of marketing and partnerships at the incubator. Stumptown Coffee Roasters' Daniel Metcalf added distribution in the spring will include its recently launched nitro coffee in a can, which pours like a Guinness beer and is currently available exclusively at Whole Foods through March 2016. He also noted the firm soon will launch a vegan cold brew coffee in a carton made with coconut milk.
