Pinch seeks to fill void with fresh gourmet dumplings
Startup Pinch offers all fresh -- never frozen -- fully cooked gourmet Chinese dumplings that can be easily reheated in their microwave safe containers for fast, healthy meals on hectic days, says Founder and CEO Zi-Heng (Daniel) Zhu. The dumplings, which are made by his parents using family recipes are sold in the refrigerated section at Union Kitchen Grocery Store, farmers markets and at a new restaurant in Baltimore. The company also is targeting wholesale distribution.
