What keeps you awake at night?
Consumer marketing and education. We want to create a 'pull' for our products at the shelf rather than to 'push' the product on to people. If we can figure out the most efficient ways to reach, educate and convert key consumer segments - everything else will take care of itself.
What trends are you tracking?
Luxurious and high-fat foods, meat snacks, bean based snacks, quinoa, chia, savory bars, savory yogurts, any functional foods.
Any other thoughts?
A major trend affecting our brand is that traditional 'conventional' grocery retailers are carrying more and more natural and organic products. This is blurring the lines between natural and conventional retailers and fundamentally changing the sales 'playbook' for natural food brands.
