Banza chickpea pasta has half the carbs of traditional pasta
Startup Banza, which makes pasta from chickpeas, was a pioneer in the category launching almost two years ago. A spokeswoman said at Expo West that the category is growing fast in part because consumers want to enjoy healthier versions of traditional foods and flavors they love. Banza delivers this with its new line of creamy chickpea mac and cheese meal kits that will launch this summer and have half the net carbs of traditional pasta, she said.
