Avitae goes after soda drinkers with caffeinated sparkling water alternative
Consumers who love carbonated beverages and the energizing boost that comes with them, but not the sugar, calories and colors that often come with them, need look no further than Avitae’s new line of caffeinated sparkling water that launched at Expo West. The waters include 90-milligrams of caffeine and come in unflavored, Black Cherry, Raspberry Lime, Berry Kiwi and Mandarin Passion Fruit.
The company is angling for a slice of the emerging caffeinated water segment that is siphoning sales from the declining low calorie soda segment, which are projected to decline at a compound annual growth rate of 4.8% through 2020, a company spokesman said.
