Bai aims to fuel growth in enhanced water category with Antiwater
Functional beverage brand Bai hopes to secure its place as the front runner status in terms of growth in the premium functional water category with the launch of Antiwater – a still water that is infused with antioxidants, super purified and packed with electrolytes, according to the company. The company touts its absolute dollar growth outpaced that of its competitors to add more than $31.4 million in scan sales to the premium functional water category in the 24 weeks ending Sept. 6, 2015. It believes its new water will push sales further as consumers continue to look for more than just hydration and taste from beverages, a spokesman said.
