According to SPINS data shared by Whipstitch Capital, US retail dollar sales of natural (which includes organic) products (eg. Stonyfield Organic, Annie’s) rose 10.7% to $41.7bn in the year to August 7, 2016; while sales of specialty products (eg. ed Bull, Lindt, Activia) were up 5.3% to $74.9bn; and conventional products (eg. Coca-Cola, Oreos) were up 0.1% to $491.3bn.
