Pereg Natural Foods launches iron-and protein-packed Kaňiwa
Moving into the grocery aisles, new from Pereg Natural Foods is Kaňiwa (also known as baby quinoa, quecha, or canahua). An excellent source of protein, Kaňiwa is high in iron and gluten-free. Dark reddish-brown in color and about half the size of a quinoa seed, kañiwa cooks up quickly to resemble a smaller version of red quinoa.
