According to SPINS data shared by Whipstitch Capital for the 52 weeks to Dec 25, 2016 (across natural, specialty and multi-outlet channels), key areas of growth include performance nutrition (+33%), refrigerated plant-based meat alternatives (+13%), refrigerated ready-to-drink tea and coffee (+11%), protein supplements and meal replacements (+11%), shelf stable wellness bars and gels (+10%), shelf stable ready-to-drink tea and coffee (+10%); and refrigerated entrees (+10%).
