What do we call clean meat?
As to what we call cultured meat on food labels, 'clean' meat is likely to get some industry pushback (given the tacit implication that the regular variety is 'dirty), but 'lab-grown,' 'in vitro' or 'cultured' meat is not very consumer friendly. 'Meat' per se may satisfy regulators (more on this HERE), but for full transparency, companies will want to describe it in such a way that it is clearly differentiated from its farm-raised counterpart, predicted speakers at a session on Monday afternoon.
