Jim Zallie to take the helm at Ingredion in January
There are also changes afoot at Ingredion, which has appointed Jim Zallie as president and CEO, effective January 1, 2018.
Ilene Gordon, current CEO, president and chairman, will serve as executive chairman of the board until her retirement next July.
The architect of Ingredion Idea Labs, a global network of innovation centers, Zallie – currently EVP global specialties and president, Americas - also led the integration of Penford Foods, Kerr Concentrates and TIC Gums. He joined the company in 2010 when it acquired National Starch.
