Hostess looks for a new CEO
Another firm waving goodbye to its CEO is Twinkies maker Hostess Brands, which is seeking to replace Bill Toler, who will retire as president and CEO on March 1, or sooner, if a replacement is appointed. Separately, EVP and chief commercial officer, Andrew Jacobs, has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO).
Dean Metropoulos, executive chairman of the board, said: “Under Bill’s leadership, the company successfully re-established the iconic Hostess brand as a leader within the sweet baked goods category and transitioned from a private to public company.”
