Bulletproof360, Inc. (maker of Bulletproof Coffee) has named Cameron Kinloch (former CFO at Ripple Foods) as CFO, and Brian Watkins as the company's VP of ecommerce, reporting to Bulletproof president and COO, Anna Collins.

"Cameron and Brian are talented and dedicated leaders with demonstrated strategic vision and experience required to lead the Bulletproof team in 2019 and beyond," said Collins. "They both have invaluable insight into their respective fields that will be crucial as we continue to evolve Bulletproof's financial strategy, online sales channels, and branded digital experience."

Popularized by the bestselling book, The Bulletproof Diet (which closely aligns with the keto diet), Bulletproof Coffee rose to prominence for its 'butter coffee' products (selling ground and whole bean coffee along with its line of MCT oils -- called 'Brain Octane Fuel' -- and grass-fed ghee) as well a new line of ready-to-drink cold brew coffee with collagen protein. The company has also closed multiple successful funding rounds (most recently a $40m Series C round led by CAVU Venture Partners).

Available in more than 3,000 stores nationwide including Whole Foods and the Vitamin Shoppe, Bulletproof recently announced that it will be expanding its store footprint to 20,000 new retail stores throughout the US including launches in Costco, Target, Sam's Club, Walmart, Publix, H-E-B, Safeway, Quality Food Centers, Ralphs, Meijer, Lifetime Fitness, Fred Meyer, and King Soopers. The brand will also expand its presence with Wegmans and CVS.

Earlier this month, Bulletproof360 hired three new executives including Patrick Brown (previously with Vega and WhiteWave Foods) as its general manager and VP of grocery sales; Keith Bone (formerly with General Mills, Frito Lay, and Glanbia Nutritionals) as VP of supply chain; and Amy Jo DiMeglio (who oversaw sale and operations of Whole Foods in-store Allegro cafes) as its VP of retail cafes.

New hire Kinloch began her career at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, and as CFO, she will oversee the finance, accounting, capital raising, investor relations, HR, legal, IT, real estate & workplace, and tax and treasury areas of the business.

With 20 years of online retail experience under his belt working for Nordstrom, Blue Nile and Bain & Company, Watkins will help drive online sales for Bulletproof360, according to Collins.

"Brian's perspective will take Bulletproof into the future as it expands its ecommerce strategy including direct-to-consumer and Amazon channels," commented Collins.

The company previously stated that 2019 will be another "ground-breaking year" in terms of growth, expanded offerings, and new experiences for consumers.
