Carl’s Jr to celebrate National Weed Day with CBD-infused burger: The Rocky Mountain High

The $4.20 burger, dubbed the Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight (CBD) - a somewhat misleading name given that CBD, unlike its cousin THC, will not get you high - will be available for just one day on April 20 at Carl's Jr, 4050 Colorado Blvd, Denver, Colorado.
The burger features two charbroiled beef patties paired with Carl’s Jr. signature Santa Fe Sauce infused with 5mg CBD via a hemp-derived CBD oil supplied by Bluebird Botanicals (with less than 0.3% THC, so don’t expect a Rocky Mountain High), plus pickled jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and fries.
This is presumably more of a PR stunt than a sign that Carl’s Jr is mulling over making CBD a permanent addition to its menu (although stranger things have happened and SVP Patty Trevino told CNN that "We are all about innovation"), so we suggest getting there early on Saturday if you’re interested.
The burger will be available from 6am through close, “while supplies last,” says the firm.
