Our food-grade gases conform with 'food grade' regulations, e.g. the EC directive 96/77/EC on food additives within EU countries and the FDA guidelines in the U.S.
Modified Atmosphere Packaging, or MAP, extends shelf-life, preserves the high quality of foodstuffs, and improves overall cost-effectiveness. The main gases used in MAP applications are carbon dioxide (CO₂​), nitrogen (N₂​) and oxygen (O₂​). These gases are used either alone or as a gas mixture.

We are also able to supply gases to you for chilling and freezing in liquid form including liquid nitrogen (LIN), liquid carbon dioxide (LIC) and carbon dioxide in a solid state as snow (dry ice).
Our food is chilled, frozen, stored, transported and displayed in equipment using refrigerant gas. We offer the widest range of Refrigerants including HFCs (e.g. R134a, R404A & R410A) and HCFCs (e.g. R22) as well as a full range of environmentally friendly Natural Refrigerants including R717 (Ammonia), R744 (CO₂​) and Hydrocarbons.
