Röhm Enzyme GmbH, announced this week that as from 1 September 2001
it will be known as AB Enzymes GmbH.

German enzyme company, Röhm Enzyme GmbH, announced this week that as from 1 September 2001 it will be known as AB Enzymes GmbH. The move is motivated by a desire to associate its name to parent company ABITEC Ltd., a subsidiary of Associated British Foods (ABF). The business will continue to be based in Darmstadt, Germany although it is due to move to new premises in the Autumn. Wolfgang Braun, Managing Director of AB Enzymes, commented: "We have been very successful of late and our business has grown considerably. We need more space to realise future growth according to plan."AB Enzymes​ is a leading producer of enzymes for the food sector and sells more than 70 different enzyme products in over 50 countries.
